Privacy
Short version: no accounts, no cookies, no ads, and we don't keep your name.
What we don't collect
- No sign-up, email address, password or phone number.
- No cookies, no advertising, and no tracking scripts from other companies.
- We don't store IP addresses, clues or chat.
Names in online games
The player and team names you type are kept only in the game server's memory while your room is open, so the other players can see them. A room is deleted 30 minutes after everyone has left, and the server forgets everything whenever it restarts. Names are never written to a database or to logs.
What your browser remembers
Your browser keeps a few things on your own device so the game works smoothly: the names you last used, your settings (theme, sound), a saved game on this device so you can continue after a refresh, and a secret key that lets you rejoin an online room. You can clear these at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Anonymous game counts
To make the game better we count, without any names or personal details:
- how many games are started and finished each day (on this device or online, easy or hard);
- how many rounds are played and how many points each round scored;
- which words are picked and which are passed over, so we can replace words nobody likes.
These counts can't be linked to you, your device or your game.
